Dorothy MacPhail

I'm a long time resident of Sacramento and have watched it transform from a cow-town to the booming small metropolitan city it currently is.  I attended Hiram Johnson West Campus High School and then flew across country to obtain a college degree.  I spent 4 years living on the east coast and then returned to Sacramento to obtain my Masters Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Counseling & Applied Behavior Analysis.   Hence, The Real Estate COUNSELOR 

In 2013 while out on maternity leave, I decided to fill the job vacancy of a broker's assistant that my husband posted.  My husband opened his own brokerage in 2011,  and his long time assistant was graduating college and advancing in her career.  I  worked with my husband, Chris MacPhail, as his assistant until I realized that I would not return to the mental health field until my children become adults.  In 2016, I decided to become a licensed real estate sales agent.  

I thoroughly enjoy helping buyers describe and find their ideal home.  I ask my clients about their motives and their goals to give me an accurate picture of the home they need.  My passion is to help others and God has enabled me to continue to do what I love in a vastly different field.
